Château de Rolland is a sweet white wine, made ??from the grape varieties 80% Sémillon, 15% Sauvignon and 5% Muscadelle, from vineyards of AOC Sauternes Bordeaux (France). Vintage hand. Traditional Winemaking slow pressing, with fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Aged for 18 months in oak barrels, of which 25% are renewed each year. The wine is named after the castle Rolland family, who owned it for three centuries, from 1492 to 1792. Alcohol 14% vol.
Tasting notes: Pale yellow with green highlights. The nose is fruity, with aromas of blackcurrant, which blend with notes of pepper on a background of ripe fruit and licorice. Evolving very positively in the glass, developing a subtle minerality. In the mouth, tight tannins, slightly astringent, currant and mineral flavors, finishing with a warm and pleasant and persistent with mineral touches.
